Apply Here

Hi + Welcome!

I’m looking for passionate individuals interested in joining a cohort where we build resiliency in the face of climate change, activate our inner leadership, and unlock narrative shifts for radical change.

Is this you?

This program is for you who:

  • Consider yourself a leader in this space, whether you're a community organizer, founder, teacher, parent, facilitator, or simply someone who cares about climate change and wants to positively impact those around you.

  • Refuse to give in to hopelessness and despair, and trust there are ways out there to make meaningful changes in our lifetime.

  • Want to find ways to lead and inspire - yourself and others - and speed up progress in climate politics, social norms, and sustainable solutions.

  • Identify as a visionary and creative (a changemaker), but who sometimes feels stuck in the face of our climate crisis, and unable to get past mental blocks.

  • Wants to actively participate in co-creating a just, regenerative, and sustainable world.

*Only serious applications. You have to apply to be accepted! Membership is $20/month.

What to Expect

  • Teachings + Implementation

Workshops, discussion sessions, and deep dives into the principles of Climate Optimism. You will, in solo reflections and in conversation with other members, discover what these principles mean to you, and what it looks like to implement them in your activism and work.

  • Community

A community of passionate leaders from around the world who care about activating a positive future as much as you do. We will learn, share, and grow in each other’s company. This is an inclusive and empowering space for collaboration and future-driven leadership.

  • Accountability

Consider this an investment in yourself. A cohort membership directly translates into accountability for your leadership practices, helping you show up with purpose and maximize your impact where it matters most to you. Activate and nurture your light, and illuminate the world around you.

This cohort is all about diving into the practices of climate optimism and learning how to integrate, master, and share them with others.

The Details

What exactly does it mean to be a member of The Climate Optimist Cohort? I’m glad you asked! Here is what you can expect from joining:

  • Each month, we’ll cover a specific topic or focus from The Climate Optimist 5 principles, the book, and others (what the focus will be is highly dependent on the needs of the community)

You can expect resources to delve into on your own time, like chapters from the book (which will be provided), videos, workshop sessions, and/or articles.

You will be invited to go through these on your own time and share your thoughts and reflections with inside chat and discussion windows accompanying each “task”.

We will also use allotted time in our monthly community calls to discuss and go deeper!

  • Once a month, we’ll meet over Zoom to discuss what we’ve learned and reflected on that month, and go deeper together.

I will start each call with a mini presentation on the chosen topic, followed by an open conversation and discussion. Depending on the number of participants, we might also break up into breakout rooms to discuss one-on-one or in smaller rooms.

I will do my best to pick a time that fits most people, but given various time zones and schedules, it will be impossible to make it so that everyone can attend live. For this reason, we’ll make sure to change the time each month so everyone has a chance to join!

With enough demand, we can also host calls on different times to make sure everyone is included!

Each call will also be recorded, and you can catch up at any time!

  • As a member, you’ll get access to various resources that you can use to practice your climate optimism leadership in your community, like discussion guides and PDFs.

  • For now, there is no start or end date to this cohort. We will cover a new topic each month, and you can choose to stay a member as long as you find it valuable. Over time, you’ll get closer to the other members inside the group, and I hope we can truly learn and grow in each other’s company.

With that said, should you wish to leave, you can terminate your membership at any time!

  • The teachings we’ll cover inside this cohort are based mainly on:

  • There is a membership fee of $20/month. The reasons for this are:

    • This is not just any activist group, but an investment in yourself and your leadership. I will be sharing teachings and insights that I’ve been accumulating for over a decade, hence making it a leadership program and transformative “journey”, more than just a group to be part of.

    • I want to be upfront about the fact that I need to be compensated for my time and energy. I love this work so much, but as a mom of two, I need to make sure this work also sustains me.

    • What you pay for, you show up for! This cohort is for you, but I know too well how easy it is to fall short on yourself. (It’s much easier to show up for a group or a cause than it is to invest in yourself, especially as an “activist.”) By paying for a membership, I hope you’ll show up and make it what it can truly be!

"Climate Optimism is not about taking a step back and hoping for the best to happen. It’s about diving into awareness and choosing a path of resilience, action, and hope!"
